Aaron Lloyd White This entire album is the witches curse in Hocus Pocus. So long as the music is playing, you're dancing. There is no hope for you while the band is onstage. Never felt more sore the next day, or better. Favorite track: Durdu Dunya.

Henrik Selin Superb post-punk. I do not understand any of the lyrics but that does not matter at all. She Past Away is the best band in this genre I have heard in a long time.
Favorite track: La Maldad.

mindtrap My girlfriend and I had no idea what their lyrics were for most of their songs, as we're worried it could throw us off of the feeling it gives us.

The music video for Durdu Dunya came out, it has Vulcan's lyrics for the chorus and it left both of us speechless.

The poetry this man has laid out for his viewers is rather goose bump inducing.

We love this band and they were really kind and generous when we met them at The Rickshaw Theater in Vancouver, Bc. Favorite track: Durdu Dunya.

Originally from the city of Bursa, now based in Istanbul. The duo of Volkan Caner, a uniquely gifted musician, and Doruk Ozturkcan, a charismatic and talented producer, forgo the simplicity and traditionalism of much so called goth rock and adopts a more avant-garde set of sensibilities and diverse influences to create a new take on modern gloom. The music features elements of 80's wave and post-punk guitars, accompanied by retro drum machine beats. The vocals perfectly compliment the dark, minimalist and poetic lyrics, where sentimental anxieties, nihilistic thoughts, and questioning taboos and existence are ever present. She past Away’s lyrics are entirely in Turkish, as the band feels “only language that you really feel is your mother tongue… We believe that we definitely better express all the difficulties of the daily life in Turkish.”
She Past Away is driving, it is mesmerizing. It is a haunt. “Disko Anksiyete” is the exploration of the dark and mysterious soul, where the strange accidents of fate find through these songs their way to our hearts and to the dance-floor.

On the heels of announcing string of 2019 US dates, the band immediately sold out shows in Brooklyn, Austin, and Los Angeles.
